Michael Bisping’s Insiders Says Khamzat Chimaev Hype Is Real

Michael Bisping is in contact with several insiders at Khamzat Chimaev’s current training camp in gym and he’s revealed that according to them the hype surrounding the rising welterweight and middleweight star is very much real.

“I am hearing things about Khamzat that are truly terrifying,” Bisping said in during a fan Q&A session on his YouTube channel. “As I said Darren Till is out there, I’ve got a bunch of friends out there in Sweden, they’re filming, Blockasset is a company that I’m involved with,”

“They are calling me up and saying ‘holy f***ing s***, Khamzat is the real deal’. He works his ass off, trains like a motherf***er, lifting weights, pushing everyone in the room, great stand-up, great wrestling.”

Chimaev had been helping Till work on his wrestling and in a post on his own Instagram page recently had been seen jokingly telling the British star, “come on fat boy!” during a workout session.

“Lad, got my a*** kicked,” Till told BlockAsset after training with Chimaev and others at the gym. “That’s what it’s all about though innit? Getting it done.”

Chimaev was also happy to get to work with Till, who is currently the No.8 ranked middleweight in the UFC.

“Work was good, nice to work with the best guys in the world. I work on the grappling and wrestling, he learn something,” Chimaev said.

“Next time we work on the striking, I learn something. It works like that, I am happy he is here.”

As things stand Chimaev is 4-0 in the UFC but doesn’t have his next fight officially booked, though the current word is that he may go up against former welterweight title contender Gilbert Burns.
