Mike Perry has revealed that his next fight will be against Max Griffin at UFC On FOX 28 on February 24th in Orlando, Florida.
‘Platinum’ built solid momentum in the UFC’s welterweight division in 2017 with highlight-reel knockout wins over both Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes that earned him ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses, but then came off second-best against Santiago Ponzinibbio, who defeated him by unanimous decision in December.
Perry is wasting little time in getting back on the horse and now faces a fighter in Griffin who is stil trying to establish his presence in the UFC’s 170lb weight class.
So far the 32-year-old has claimed just one win in his first three Octagon outings, with a 54 second TKO victory over Erick Montano being sandwiched between losses to rising star Colby Covington and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos.
Perry Vs Griffin joins a UFC On FOX 28 card that will also feature middleweight star Yoel Romero vs David Branch, Jessica Andrade Vs Tecia Torres, Alan Jouban Vs Ben Saunders and Sara McMann Vs Yana Kunitskya.
