Miracles Do Happen: Matt Hughes Back On The Mat Doing Jiu-Jitsu

If you need any proof that miracles do happen then consider the fact that UFC legend Matt Hughes has been pictured back on the mat doing jiu-jitsu just two months after a near fatal accident in which a train crashed into the pick-up truck he was driving.

Hughes was left in a coma after the crash and there were fears that he may never recover, but though there have been only a small handful updates on his condition in the weeks since, the last couple have seen the retired star making remarkable steps towards returning to full health.

Not so long ago Hughes’ friend Tony Zucca posted a picture of the 43-year-old being taken out in a wheelchair to go for sushi, and now Zucca has posted video of the former welterweight champion rolling on the mats with him.

Ross launched MMA Insight (previously FightOfTheNight.com) in 2009 as a way to channel his passion for the sport of mixed martial arts.
