Nate Diaz Eyeing UFC Return In Just A few Months Time

After a long hiatus it looks like Nate Diaz may finally be ready to get back to doing what he does best.

In a new post on Instagram, Diaz appears to hint that a return to action could be on the cards in a matter of months.

“Sick of sitting around waiting for you fuckers to do shit there’s no excitement in this fight shit step your games up I’ll see u around may,June. Sincerely The Real Champ,” Diaz wrote on Instagram.

The 32-year-old Diaz hasn’t fought since his blockbuster rematch with Conor McGregor back at UFC 202 in August of 2016, which he lost by way of a majority decision.

The event proved to be a record-breaker with 1.65 million pay-per-view buys and as a result Diaz earned several million dollars – by far and away his biggest ever payday, and that’s almost certainly why he’s been in no particular rush to return to the Octagon since.

Diaz had previously indicated that he wanted another big fight and bumper payday in order to put his gloves back on, but with a title fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov already booked and Conor McGregor potentially taking time out until September, it’ll be interesting to see who the UFC would have in mind for him, and whether he will approve of their choice.
