Neil Magny Now Fights Newcomer Craig White At UFC Fight Night 130

Neil Magny finally has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool on May 27th, three weeks after his previous opponent Gunnar Nelson pulled out of their fight due to an injury.

Magny will now go up against Craig ‘The Thundercat’ White, who comes in on just 12 days notice to make his promotional debut.

The 27-year-old White holds a 14-7 career record and is coming off a four-fight winning streak in the Cage Warriors promotion.

Before accepting this fight White had been in the running to fight for the Cage Warriors welterweight title, but now he’s been handed an even bigger opportunity and what will undoubtedly be the toughest fight of his career to date.

Meanwhile, Magny will no doubt just be happy to have an opponent confirmed at last after a long wait.

The 30-year-old marked himself out in the UFC with an incredibly consistent run that saw him go 10-1 between 2014 and 2016.

However, since then he has gone 2-2, with big wins over Johny Hendricks and Carlos Condit being sandwiched between losses to Lorenz Larkin and Rafael dos Anjos.

With Magny Vs White on-board, UFC Fight Night 130 continues with a card headlined by another major welterweight fight as Stephen Thompson goes up against Darren Till.
