Neil Magny Pulls Out Of UFC Fight Night 152 Co-Main Event

Just a few days away from UFC Fight night 152 in Rochester, New York on Saturday night, Neil Magny has pulled out of his co-main event bout with Vicente Luque.

At this stage there’s no details on why Magny has pulled out of the fight, which would have seen him attempt to get back to winning ways after suffering a knockout loss against Santiago Ponzinibbio last time out in November of last year.

Less than a day ago everything had appeared to be on track for the 31-year-old, who had wrote on Twitter that he’d, “Waited so long to say this again….FIGHT WEEK IS HERE! So excited for the opportunity to compete again.”

With Magny out the UFC are believed to now be frantically searching for a new opponent for Luque, who is in the midst of a four-fight winning streak, having defeated the likes the likes of Niko Price, Chad Laprise, Jalin Turner and Bryan Barberena.

The UFC Fight Night 152 event will remain headlined by a welterweight fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Kevin Lee, while other notable bouts on the card include Antonio Carlos Junior vs. Ian Heinisch, Megan Anderson vs. Felicia Spencer and Charles Oliveira vs. Nik Lentz.
