Niko Price Celebrates New 4-Fight Deal With The UFC

There’s not a lot of good news circulating in MMA at the moment, but one man who has cause for celebration is Niko Price who has just been granted a new four-fight deal with the UFC.

“BREAKING NEWS!!! I forgot to mention I signed a new 4 fight contract,” Price wrote on Twitter. “I’m so blessed and thankful for the @ufc! I’ll be sure to keep it entertaining for you guys!”

Price made a big impression in his last Octagon outing by knocking out James Vick with an upkick in the first round, and appears to have come at the perfect time to help ensure he will be remaining with the UFC.

Truth be told though, despite having alternated between wins and losses in recent times, Price is just the kind of action-orientated fighter that the UFC likes, with ‘The Hybrid’ having a kill-or-be-killed style that’s seen him only go to the judges scorecards once in his entire 14-3 career.

The win over Vick was arguably the biggest of his career to date, but he’s also defeated the likes of Tim Means, Alan Jouban and Brandon Thatch during his time in the Octagon so far and now he has a chance to add more big names to his resume over the course of his next four fights.
