Paddy Pimblett To Fight Kazula Vargas At UFC Fight Night 204 In London

Rising UK star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett’s next fight will against Kazula Vargas at UFC Fight Night 204 in London, England on March 19th.

Pimblett was originally rumored to be fighting Jared Gordon at the show, but it seems that Dana White got his wires crossed when he mentioned it and instead it will be Vargas who gets the fight instead.

The 27-year-old Pimblett had been on the UFC’s radar for a number of years after making an impression as a champion in the UK promotion Cage Warriors, and finally made his debut in September of last year against Luigi Vendramini.

Pimblett didn’t have it all his own way in that fight, but late in the first round he emerged with a knockout victory that confirmed him as a fighter to watch in 2022.

Now he’ll be fighting Vergas, who has so far had three outings in the promotion, losing his first two fights before notching up a unanimous decision win over Zhu Rong last April.

Pimblett vs. Vargas joins a UFC Fight Night 204 event that will be headlined by heavyweight action as Tom Aspinall goes up against Alexander Volkov, while Arnold Allen fights Dan Hooker at featherweight in the co-main event spot.
