Paige VanZant Believes She has Covid After Husband Tests Positive

Paige VanZant’s husband, Bellator fighter Austin Vanderford has tested positive for Covid-19 and now she believes she has it too.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to compete for Bellator next weekend,” Vanderford wrote on Instagram of his upcoming fight against Daniel Madrid at Bellator 246. “I tested positive for COVID (a second time now). To say it’s a bummer is a serious understatement. But I’m going to rest up and recover now. I’ll be ready to go ASAP. Stay Healthy and safe.”

Meanwhile, PVZ says she hasn’t tested positive for the virus yet, but has symptoms that suggest that she could be suffering from Covid.

“Well….. we are officially sick,” VanZant wrote on Instagram. “We need your help though. So, Austin was starting to get sick and tested positive. I immediately went and got tested and it came back negative…. the next day I started getting sick and have progressively been getting worse the last few days. Today I feel absolutely terrible!!!!! I posted the full video on our YouTube and we need some advice. Do I have Covid, or something else? I have a 102 fever and tons of other symptoms. Has he been sick this whole time since he tested positive a month ago. I am so confused by all of this. We are staying home but can’t seems to find any answers. Should I go get tested again???? Please watch, the link is in my bio. LMK.”

PVZ, who recently left the UFC, is currently scheduled to make her Bareknuckle FC debut in November, but if she does have Covid then that may be pushed back until a later date.
