A welterweight fight between Sean Brady and Michel Pereira has been announced for UFC On ESPN 43 in San Antonio, Texas on March 25th.
The 30-year-old Brady is coming off the first loss of his 16-fight career last time out when he suffered a TKO defeat against Belal Muhammad at UFC 280 in October.
Before that Brady had put together five wins in a row since joining the UFC in 2019, notching up victories over the likes of Court McGee, Jake Matthews and Michael Chiesa along the way, which leaves him ranked No.8 heading into this fight.
The 29-year-old Pereira only had a 1-2 start to his UFC run, but he’s since gone on a five-fight unbeaten stretch that’s seen him win on the scorecards against the likes of Niko Price, Andre Fialho and most recently Santiago Ponzinibbio back in May to secure a spot on the welterweight ladder at No.14.
Brady vs. Pereira joins a UFC On ESPN 43 card that doesn’t have a confirmed headliner yet, but will also feature Holly Holm vs. Yana Kunitskaya, Manel Kape vs. Alex Perez and Maycee Barber vs. Andrea Lee.
