Sean Strickland Claims Tony Ferguson Was KO’d By Raymond Daniels In Training

Sean Strickland has become increasingly outspoken during his rise up the middleweight rankings over the past couple of years, and the latest example of that was spilling the beans on social media about a training room KO suffered by Tony Ferguson.

“Yeah he’s a c*nt lol!” Strickland responded to a fan who asked if he’d ever sparred Ferguson.

“Raymond Daniel’s pulled a head kick once and Tony got mad about it because he didn’t throw it hard so the next kick he knocked Tony out…,” Strickland claimed.

Daniel’s is a high-level welterweight kickboxer who compiled a 33-3 record in the sport and was Bellator Kickboxing’s reigning champion, compiling a perfect 8-0 run in the promotion.

More recently he’s moved on to compete for Bellator as an MMA fighter and so far has gone 3-1 (+1nc), and even Strickland appears to respect his skills as when he asked if he could have ate the kick that Daniel’s knocked out Ferguson with he replied, “Na man everytime Raymond pulls a kick I stop sparring and thank him lol.”

During the Q&A session with fans, Strickland also shared a story about former UFC fighter Sage Northcutt.

“I sparred sage once… lol he stormed off the mat and it was followed by his mom saying ‘should I go talk to him.’

“1. Why the fuck is your mom here. 2. No he’s a grown as man let him go act like a female alone lol.”

As for Strickland himself, he is currently on a five-fight winning streak that’s taken him to the No.7 spot on the middleweight ladder as he prepares for his next fight against Jack Hermansson in February.
