Sergei Pavlovich KO’s Tai Tuivasa In 54 Seconds At UFC On ESPN 42

Sergei Pavlovich blasted through Tai Tuivasa in short order tonight at UFC On ESPN 42, finishing him via KO after only 54 seconds.

Pavlovich with an early flurry of hard punches and Tuivasa is hurt already, but then throws back with power punches of his own.

Pavlovich quickly back on the attack though and two heavy jabs drop Tuivasa to the mat, though he quickly gets back up.

Pavlovich senses a finish and swings hard, throwing a right hook and then an uppercut as Tuivasa sags against the cage, with another punch putting him down one final time, with follow-up strikes on the mat sealing the KO stoppage at just 0.54mins into the first round.

That marks Pavlovich’s fifth win in a row via first-round strikes, while Tuivasa suffers his second loss in a row by way of strikes.
