The in-form Thiago Santos will return to action against Jan Blachowicz in the headline fight for UFC On ESPN+ 3 on February 23rd in Prague, Czech Republic.
Santos is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, and that includes two victories in his first outings at light-heavyweight, following a third round TKO stoppage against Eryk Anders with a second round demolishing of Jimi Manuwa in one of the most action-packed fights of the year.
Santos had also been making an impression at middleweight before that and in total has now won seven of his last eight fights, which has led to him being ranked at No.7 at 205lbs heading into this fight.
As for Blachowicz, he is also in fine form with a four-fight winning streak under his belt that’s seen him defeat Devin Clark, Jared Cannonier, Jimi Manuwa and Nikita Krylov in the space of a year.
Prior to that Blachowicz had been in a tougher spot, losing four of his previous five fights, but that’s all in his rear-view mirror now as he looks to get 2019 off to a good start in Prague.
Santos Vs Blachowicz joins a UFC On ESPN+ 3 card that will also include Stefan Struve Vs Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
