Tim Means Reveals He Broke His Leg And Ankle Against Niko Price

Tim Means put up a hell of a fight against Niko Price at UFC Fight Night 136 yesterday evening in Kansas, and at one point in the opening round looked like he might even finish him as his hard left hands began landing flush to ‘The Hybrid’s’ face.

However, a right hook counter from Price changed the fight completely, sending Means toppling to the canvas and then being KO’d by follow-up punches on the mat.

Apparently that was far from the only damage Means suffered during that fight-ending sequence however, as he’s now revealed that during his fall from the punch he broke both his leg and his ankle.

“I do my best to leave it all in the ring everytime out so the fans can get what they paid for,” Means wrote on Instagram. “Wasn’t my night I have to get surgery broken tibula and ankle. Niko caught me with a punch and my foot got stuck under me. Much respect to @hybridufc . See y’all down the road. Thankyou to everyone for the kind words.”

Means wife, fellow fighter Brenda Gonzalez-Means later also posted a disturbing picture showing the extent of the damage he had sustained to his leg and ankle.
