Trevin Giles And Joanne Calderwood Post Updates After Passing Out At UFC On ESPN+ 31

Both Trevin Giles and Joanne Calderwood passed out in seperate incidents at UFC On ESPN+ 31 this past Saturday night in Las Vegas and have since posted updates on social media to reassure fans that they are ok.

Giles fainted backstage only minutes before he was due to make his walk-out for a fight against Kevin Holland on the main card of the show, which led to it being cancelled, but now says that he feels healthy and wants to remake the bout as soon as possible.

“Hey everybody I’m all good, at the hospital here,” Giles wrote on Instagram. “I’m not sure what really happened, but, I don’t know, the fight ended up getting canceled, as I’m sure you guys know. I’m all good. I feel healthy. It’s a shame this fight couldn’t happen. I guess, the big picture is I’m good. I guess, Holland, we’ll have to reschedule that man. Alright, appreciate all the support and everyone worried about me.”

Later that evening, Joanne Calderwood also passed out backstage while sitting in a medical room after her first round submission loss to Jennifer Maia in the co-main event, which led to her being rushed to hospital, but she too has since posted to say that she’s doing ok.

“Well that was a rough night at the office..congratulations to Jenifer Maia..I’m so grateful for my family, friends and fans that are here to help pick me back up in this crazy life we all share. It’s a fight, everyday we all fight, but it’s not everyday it goes our way. Thanks to all the @ufc staff, the medics and docs at umc..oh and my knight in shining armour @bigwoodmma702 sorry for scaring you babe! #nevergiveup.”
