UFC 246, the first event of the year for the promotion, lands this coming Saturday night, January 18th in Las Vegas, and they are kicking things with a blockbuster pay-per-view card.
Headlining the show will be the return of Conor McGregor, who steps back up to welterweight to fight Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.
In the co-main event Holly Holm fights for the first time since a head kick TKO loss to Amanda Nunes last year as she goes up against another former title contender Raquel Pennington.
Both Aleksei Oleinik and Maurice Greene are looking to get back to winning ways in their heavyweight clash.
Meanwhile, No.6 ranked strawweight Claudia Gadhela will fight the No.11 ranked Alexa Grassa on the main card.
And opening up the pay-per-view portion of the show will be former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, who moves back down to the division to face Carlos Diego Ferreira, who is on a five-fight winning streak.
