Following last night’s UFC 255 event the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was a preliminary bout between Sasha Palatnikov and Louis Cosce, which was fought at a ferocious tempo that eventually took it’s toll on Cosce, which enabled Palatnikov to secure a third round TKO finish.
After his last highlight-reel KO went viral in a big way recently, Joaquin Buckley had a lot of pressure on his shoulders against Jordan Wright last night, but he is no one-trick pony by KO’ing his opponent with hard-hitting punches early in the second round to earn one of the evening’s ‘Performance Of The Night’ awards.
Also securing a performance bonus was Antonina Shevchenko, who showed that she does have a developing ground game as she battled with Ariane Lipski on the mat and eventually TKO’d her with ground and pound late in the second round.
