UFC 279 takes place this coming Saturday night, September 10th in Las Vegas and we’ve got the full fight card below.
In the main event, what appears to be the final fight of Nate Diaz’s UFC career sees him going up against a formidable foe in Khamzat Chimaev, who is undefeated in his 11-fight career to date.
In the co-main event, Tony Ferguson attempts to bring a halt to a four-fight losing slump as he moves up to welterweight to fight Li Jingliang, who comes in off a TKO win against Muslim Salikhov.
At a catchweight of 180lbs, Kevin Holland will look to build on his two wins so far in 2022 when he fights Daniel Rodriguez, who is on a three-fight winning streak.
There’s also women’s bantamweight action on the main card as current No.4 contender Irene Aldana has been paired up against the No.10 ranked Macy Chiasson.
Opening up the main card will be a light-heavyweight fight that sees Johnny Walker in dire need of a win after losing four of his past five fights, while Ion Cutelaba isn’t fairing much better with just a win and a draw to show for his last five Octagon outings.
