UFC 291 takes place this coming Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utah and you can check out the full fight card below.
In the main event of the evening the symbolic ‘BMF’ title is back up for grabs and will see two leading lightweight contenders Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje battle for the belt that was previously held by Jorge Masvidal before his retirement earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the co-main event sees a likely light-heavyweight title eliminator as former 205lb champ Jan Blachowicz welcomes ex-middleweight titleholder Alex Pereira to the division.
Tony Ferguson is coming off a five-fight losing streak as he now attempts to fend off calls for him to retire by defeating another veteran in Bobby Green, whose last fight ended in a no-contest due to a clash of heads and had lost two-in-a-row via strikes prior to that.
Stephen Thompson is looking to build on a TKO finish of Kevin Holland last time out when he fights fellow striker Michel Pereira, who is in fine form coming into this one after stringing together five wins in a row.
Speaking of Kevin Holland, he got back to winning ways after that loss to the aforementioned Thompson when he KO’d Santiago Ponzinibbio last time out and now he opens up the main card against Michael Chiesa, who has been out for the past year-and-half after suffering back-to-back losses.
