Following today’s UFC Fight Night 122 event in Shanghai the recipients of the $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
On this occasion there were four ‘Performance Of The Night’ awards dished out, including main event winner Kelvin Gastelum, who starched Michael Bisping with a left hook mid-way through the first round to emerge with a highlight-reel knockout victory.
In the co-main event, Li Jingliang gave the Shanghai crowd plenty to cheer about as he claimed his fourth win in a row inside the Octagon with a first round TKO finish against Zak Ottow.
Zabit Magomedsharipov also claimed a performance award after he dominated Sheymon Moraes for the best part of the three rounds and then put the icing on the cake with an anaconda choke submission finish deep into the final stanza.
Rounding off the bonus awards, Song Yadong took home an extra $50,000 after dropping Bharat Khandare with a right hand and then seized on a guillotine choke to bring the fight to an end late in the first round.
