Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 161 event in Florida the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning Fight Of The Night honors was the co-main event between Cub Swanson and Kron Gracie, a three round battle that saw Swanson throw everything but the kitchen sink at Gracie, who demonstrated his toughness by lasting the full 15 minutes and landing some solid strikes of his own at times.
In the end however there was no doubt about the winner and Swanson emerges with his first victory in his last five fights.
Meanwhile, Niko Price earned a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he earned a brutal knockout finish against James Vick, landing an upkick to the face of his opponent on the mat, instantly rendering him unconscio
Marlon Vera earned the other ‘Performance Of The Night’ after he left it until the third round to earn a guillotine choke submission win over Andre Ewell on the preliminary portion of the card.
