Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 164 event in Brazil the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
On this occasion there’s wasn’t a ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonus, but instead four ‘Performances Of The Night’ awards were handed out instead.
Finishing machine Charles Oliveira was of course one of those who took home an extra $50,000 after he took just 86 seconds to knock out Jared Gordon on the main card, initially flooring him with a single punch, before dropping him again with an uppercut as he rose back to his feet.
This was ‘Do Bronx’s 15th finish in the UFC, just one behind the all-time UFC record currently held by Donald Cerrone.
James Krause left it late to earn an impressive finish over Sergio Moraes, knocking him out just 41 seconds before the end of the fight with a right hand and follow-up strikes on the mat.
Meanwhile Ricardo Ramos seized his bonus award after managing to catch Luiz Eduardo Garagorri with a standing rear-naked choke in the first round of their preliminary card fight.
Finally, Randy Brown secured a second round triangle choke submission against Warlley Alves that banked him a bonus award too.
