UFC Fight Night 165 Fight Card

The final UFC show of the year, UFC Fight Night 165 takes place in the early hours of this coming Saturday morning, December 21st in South Korea, and we’ve got hte full fight card for you below.

In the main event, ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung will compete in front of his home fans against late replacement Frankie Edgar, who postponed a move down to bantamweight in order to fill-in for the injured Brian Ortega.

There’s light-heavyweight action in the co-main event as Volkan Oezdemir takes on a rising force in Aleksander Rakic, who has picked up four wins in the UFC so far and hasn’t tasted defeat since his pro-debut eight years ago.

‘The Korean Superboy’ Doo Ho Choi wll be hoping his own fans can cheer him on to break his current two-fight losing streak when he squares up to Charles Jourdain, who is coming off a loss in his UFC debut.

After getting a win in his promotional debut, Da Un Jung takes on former Contender Series prospect Mike Rodriguez, while Jun Yong Park and Marc-Andre Barriault will be looking for their first victory inside the Octagon when they go head-to-head.

Opening up the main card will be yet another South Korean fighter Kyung Ho Kang who will battle it out with China’s Pingyuan Liu.
