In the main event there’s heavyweight action as the No.3 ranked Sergei Pavlovich looks to build on an impressive record of five first-round finishes via strikes in a row when he takes on the 4th placed Curtis Blaydes, who is on a three-fight winning streak.
Brad Tavares is coming off a decision loss against Dricus du Plessis as he now seeks to steady the ship against Bruno Silva, who is trying to avoid suffering his third loss in a row.
Bobby Green had signalled that his fight against Jared Gordon on Saturday night would mark his retirement, having lost his previous two bouts via strikes, but he’s since clarified that he’s only calling time on his name, not his career, and in the future will simply be known as ‘King’.
Defeated TUF 30 finalist Brogan Walker features on the main card, going up against Iasmin Lucindo, who is also looking for her first win in the promotion after losing her debut by decision.
After finishing his first three fights in the UFC inside the distance, Jeremiah Wells now opens up the main card against Matthew Semelsberger, who has gone 5-2 in his UFC campaign so far.
