UFC Fight Night 236 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 236 event the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

On this occasion UFC officials decided to go with four ‘Performance Of The Night’ awards and co-main event winner Dan Ige scooped up one of them after he floored Andre Fili with a single thunderous right hand midway through the first round to earn a knockout victory.

Also earning a performance bonus was Rodolfo Vieira who waited patiently in the first round against Armen Petrosyan for a change to get the fight to the mat, and made the most of it when he managed to do so, setting up a fight-ending arm-triangle choke submission with just 12 seconds of the round remaining.

Carlos Prates claimed his bonus after engaging in a competitive fight with Trevin Giles in the opening round and then delivering a big finish late in the second as he connected flush with a left hand to knock his opponent out.

The final bonus winner was Bogdan Guskov, who knocked out Zac Pauga with a barrage of blows on the feet in the first round.
