Following last night’s UFC On ESPN 4 event the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were anounced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was a preliminary card battle between Maurio Bautista and Jin Soo Son, which was a highly competitive battle from start to finish, with Bautista eventually emerging with a unanimous decision victory.
Meanwhile, Walt Harris earned a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he secured the third fastest knockout in UFC history, demolishing Aleksei Oleinik with a flying knee followed by a left hand to the temple, sending him clattering to the mat unconscious just 12 seconds into the fight.
Also earning a performance bonus on the night was Dan Hooker, who was engaged in a competitive opening round with James Vick up until he landed a big punch that floored his opponent, with a couple of follow-up punches on the mat sealing a big knockout victory at the 2.33 minute mark.
