UFC On ESPN 44 Fight Card

UFC On ESPN 44 takes place this coming Saturday night, April 15th in Kansas City and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

The main event sees a clash of top-flight featherweights as former champion Max Holloway tries to rebound from another loss to Alexander Volkanovski when he goes up against the in-form Arnold Allen, who has now amassed a perfect 10-0 run in the UFC so far.

In the co-main event veteran striker Edson Barboza is coming off back-to-back losses as he squares up to Billy Quarantillo, who TKO’d Alexander Hernandez in his last Octagon appearance.

Dustin Jacoby’s seven-fight unbeaten start to his second UFC run ended last October with a split-decision loss to Khalil Rountree Jr and he’s now been paired up against the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov, who is 2-0 in the UFC so far.

Tanner Boser has just one win from his last four fights, but in an even more precarious position is his next opponent Ion Cutelaba, who has just a win and a draw to show from his last six UFC appearances.

Pedro Munhoz is also in a difficult spot after a spell in which he has just one win, four losses and a no-contest, and yet he keeps finding himself being given challenging fights, such as this one against Chris Gutierrez, who by way of contrast is unbeaten in his last eight UFC fights.

Opening up the card will be grizzled veteran Clay Guida, who beat Scott Holtzman via split-decision last time out and now fights Rafa Garcia, who has gone 3-3 in the UFC to date.
