UFC On ESPN 57 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC On ESPN 57 event in Louisville the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

Four ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses were served up this time around and that included one for Brunno Ferreira, who found himself in a battle with Dustin Stoltzfus early in the fight, but then upped his offensive intensity, culminating in a spinning back elbow that landed cleanly to TKO his opponent just 9 seconds before the end of the opening round.

Also earning a performance bonus was Raul Rosas Jr, who engaged in a high-paced, back-and-forth fight with Ricky Turcios that saw plenty of scrambling and both men trying their best to finish submission attempts without success. However, in the second round Rosas Jr was able to get Turcios to the mat again and this time sunk in a fight-ending rear-naked choke submission.

Zachary Reese earned his first UFC win and a submission bonus into the bargain when he took just 20 seconds to TKO Julian Marquez after landing a big body kick and then floored him with an uppercut.

Meanwhile, Carlos Prates also secured a performance bonus when he landed a perfectly placed knee to the body that folded up Charlie Radtke late in the first round for a knockout victory.
