Watch Dillon Danis Get Tapped Out By Security Guard And Then Arrested

Dillon Danis has had a knack for getting in the headlines despite his relatively limited MMA experience, but the BJJ ace will surely be wishing that no-one knew about the embarrassing situation he found himself in recently.

Danis was charged with disorderly conduct at the Beachcombers Bar And Grill in New Jersey after he allegedly caused a disturbance there that led to the police being called.

It’s never a good look to see your police mugshot in the news the next day after a night out like that, but worse was to come for the Bellator fighter when video emerged showing that he’d actually been forced to repeatedly tap out by what appeared to be a security guard at the bar had him wrapped up in a rear-naked choke on the floor before he was arrested.

It was a humiliating moment for the 28-year-old, who is a decorated BJJ player who became known for coaching Conor McGregor, before transitioning to fighting in the cage himself, compiling a 2-0 record so far.

During his time in the sport he’s also been in a brief scuffle with Khabib Nurmagomedov, while he’s also repeatedly attempted to arrange a boxing match with Jake Paul, without success.

Danis has been out of action for well over a year though due to requiring reconstructive knee surgery and was seen to still be wearing a knee brace at the time of his arrest.
