Watch Dominick Cruz Back In Training And Detailing His Ongoing Knee Rehab

It’s now over two years since UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz last fought after having to undergo a series of surgeries on his knee which left him on the brink of having to retire despite only being 28 years old.

With that in mind it’s just great to see video footage of Cruz back in training as he takes his rehabilitation to the next level at the Sports Science Lab which welterweight champ Georges St.Pierre also used to safely and efficiently get back in shape after his own ACL surgery last year.

If all continues to go well Cruz will at last get the opportunity to defend his belt against current interim champ Renan Barao at UFC 169 on February 1st.

Such is the level of interest in his long awaited return to action that the fight actually got promoted to the main event of the Super Bowl weekend show ahead of a featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas.

Check out the video below which details Cruz’s ongoing knee rehab and offers a glimpse at his training regime at the SSL facility.
