Dana White UFC 202 Post-Fight Interview

Following an amazing night of fights last night at UFC 202 in Las Vegas, Dana White spoke with ESPN about the night’s biggest talking points – and naturally they were all about Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

“I didn’t see that fight going five rounds, and it did,” White said. “One minute, it looked like Conor was gassed, and he got a second wind. Diaz got dropped a couple of times, it looked like he was done, and he came back. It was an absolute epic fight.”

While that will surely leave White craving a third fight between McGregor and Diaz, the UFC President indicated that ‘The Notorious’ might have other business to attend to first.

“Conor has to defend his title or make a decision to give it up or whatever he wants to do. I don’t know. I’ve got to sit down and see what’s next. If I was Conor, I’d defend my title.”

White also made mention of the fact that the main event wasn’t the only highlight of what proved to be an entertaining five-fight pay-per-view card that also produced four stoppage victories due to strikes.

“Obviously the Conor – Diaz fight was epic, but the whole card was good. There were great fights tonight. I’m very pleased.”
