Despite the emergence of woman’s MMA in the UFC over the past year, it doesn’t appear that Gina Carano, who was once of the biggest stars in the sport, is going to be enticed into the Octagon as she’s being kept busy with her acting career.
After starring in movies like ‘Haywire’ and ‘Fast & Furious 6’, Carano is now turning to the small screen for her latest role in an episode of FOX’s new Sci-Fi show, ‘Almost Human’.
It’s a shame we’re probably never going to see Carano fight for the UFC as a bout between her and Ronda Rousey would be enormous…not as a competitive match-up (Rousey would armbar her in a flash), but in terms of the pre-fight hype and mainstream interest surrounding it.
