Watch Rousimar Palhares Get KO’d In Under A Minute Last Night In Russia

Controversial fighter Rousimar Palhares returned to action in Moscow, Russia last night against Aliaskhab Khizriev at the Fight Nights Global 85 event, but things didn’t go well at all for the Brazilian grappler.

The fight was for the FNG welterweight title, but Palhares missed weight by three pounds and as such was ineligble to win the title on the night.

In the opening seconds of the fight Palhares stumbled and fell to the mat as Khizriev threw a head kick and then found himself being blasted with heavy ground and pound.

Palhares then tried to get back on track by working on his infamous heel hooks, but Khizriev managed to escape the submission twice and then got back to hammering him with hard punches on the mat that resulted in a 58 second knockout finish.

Khizriev improved to 10-0 thanks to the biggest win of his career so far, while Palhares now holds just one win in his last five outings in the cage.
