Donald Cerrone defeats Jim Miller by KO at 3.31mins of Rd2
Edson Barboza defeats Evan Dunham by TKO at 3.06mins of Rd1
Rick Story defeats Leonardo Mafra by submission (Arm triangle choke) at 2.12mins of Rd2
Joe Proctor defeats Justin Salas by TKO at 3.27mins of Rd2
The first round of this one was hard-hitting as both fighters faces would attest by the end of it with Proctor sporting an enormous contusion close to his left ear courtesy of a right hook as well as blood coming from his nose, while Salas was bleeding from damage around his right eye. The doctors took a very close look at Proctor’s face in-between rounds, but said he was fit to continue. Despite the damage both fighters went right back into trading strikes in the second and it was Proctor who ended up getting the upper hand, rocking Salas with punches and then again soon afterwards, connecting with a counter left hook as his opponent pressed forward. Salas lost control of his legs and tumbled to the mat which caused the ref to call an end to the action.
John Lineker defeats Alptekin Ozkilic by TKO at 4.51mins of Rd3
The heavy-handed Lineker looked impressive tonight against a game opponent in Ozkilic. Lineker got better as the fight wore on as he started working to the body as well as the head. His power was evident, but Ozkilic showed real toughness to absorb repeated blows and yet still keep the fight competitive. Unfortunately for him, just as it looked as if he would make it to the final bell after taking a lot of punishment in the final five minutes, Lineker connected cleanly with a left hook that put him on wobbly legs. Lineker followed up and Ozklic dropped to the mat, with the referee rushing in to bring an end to the fight with just nine seconds of the fight remaining.
Lucas Martins defeats Alex White by KO at 2.08mins of Rd3
Martins finally ended this fight in the third round, but there were times in the first round that he looked like he could also have done so, having White in trouble on a number of occasions with his crisp, accurate striking. White showed his toughness to hang in there though and in the second round he readjusted and got into the fight with better head movement and striking combinations, while Martins looked to be slowing down. Clearly Martins still had something left in the tank though, because approaching the half way point of the third round he came to life with a left hand landing, then a powerful right following behind it that caught White flush in the jaw and essentially had him out on his feet. He swayed on his feet for a moment almost in slow motion before dropping to the canvas where a couple of hammerfists from Martins sealed the KO win.

Gleison Tibau defeats Pat Healy by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2)
The last prelim of the evening was a competitive one. For the first round a half Tibau was very much in the ascendancy, finding a home for his punches and leg kicks and landing some powerful takedowns into the bargain and periods of control on the mat. Healy started to come to life after that though and began pressuring Tibau more and letting his hands go, including a nice flurry to the body up against the cage. Healy continued to grind away at Tibau in the third round and he appeared to hold the cardio edge at this stage, but Tibau still managed to time some nice counters and a big takedown from him ensured it was a close round.
Leslie Smith defeats Jessamyn Duke by TKO at 2.24mins of Rd1
Great performance from Smith here, demolishing the taller, rangier Duke in a matter of minutes. Smith pushed the pace from the opening bell and was able to get inside Duke’s reach and land some telling shots early. After one blow forced Duke to hit reverse gear, Smith decided to up her offensive output drastically, unleashing left and rights to the body and head of her opponent. With Duke covering up against the cage Smith was essentially able to do whatever she wanted, mixing things up with a knee and a kick in there, before a hard punch to the liver folded Duke to the canvas and brought an end to the fight.
Aljamain Sterling defeats Hugo Viana by TKO at 3.50mins of Rd3
Sterling was the superior fighter from start to finish here, getting the better of Viana on the feet and on the mat and eventually finding a TKO finish late in the third round after getting into mount and opting to ditch a submission attempt in favor of a barrage of strikes.
Yosdenis Cedeno defeats Jerrod Sanders by TKO (knee injury) at 5.00 of Rd1
This fight ended prematurely after Sanders quit on his stool due to a knee injury he sustained during the opening round, resulting in a TKO win for Cedeno.
Claudia Gadelha defeats Tina Lahdemaki by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27 x2)
Gadelha wins the UFC’s first ever female strawweight fight, getting the better of the striking exchanges and dominating her opponent on the mat over the course of three rounds.
