Fight Report

Prelims:

Derek Brunson defeats Lorenz Larkin by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

It became apparent early in this fight that Larkin was the better striker of the two. Unfortunately for him it wasn’t long before it became just as clear that Brunson was the better of the two on the mat. Brunson was able to enjoy long periods of control on the mat in each round and despite not offering up a whole lot of offense he was doing enough to ensure a unanimous decision victory.

Anthony Hamilton defeats Ruan Potts by TKO at 4.17mins of Rd2

Hamilton controlled this fight with repeated takedowns and ground and pound. In the second round he really went to town on Potts ribs with repeated heavy blows after getting him down again. Potts ribcage was visibly getting marked up and bruised as a result of this and in the end the referee took pity on him and brought an end to the fight.

Chris Wade defeats Cain Carrizosa by submission (guillotine choke) at of Rd1

A swift start to the night’s action here with Wade excuting a beautiful throw to get Carrizaosa down to the mat. He tried to take his back, but as Carrizosa attempted to stand he opted to drop back with a guillotine choke attempt then rolled on top with it, resulting in Carrizosa passing out before he could tap.
