Weili Zhang stunned the MMA world today in China as she took just 42 seconds to TKO Jessica Andrade to become the strawweight champion of the world.

The main event strawweight title fight is underway in China.
Leg kicks from Zhang to start. She’s landed several already. now they are just exchanging in a wild brawl. Andrade is trying to stamp her authority on the fight with big punches, but Zhang is not afraid to exchange and rocks the Brazilian champion with a big right hand counter.
Andrade clinches up against the cage, but Zhang is having none of it and blasts her with big elbows, punches and knees. Andrade backing up under fire and more strikes put her down onto the canvas and the referee quickly moves in to wave off the fight, handing Zhang not only a stunningly swift TKO victory in just 42 seconds, but also the strawweight title.
So China, and indeed Asia as a whole has it’s first UFC champion in Zhang and on home soil too with an exceptional finish – a fairytale story come to life in the Octagon!
