Jake Ellenberger will not break the top ten again.
Looking at his record all of Jake’s best wins are against ageing veterans. Nate Marquardt, Jake Shields, Josh Koscheck, Diego Sanchez all of them are on the down side of their career. That submission was brutal. The description of a pit bull was accurate, and the foaming at the mouth was gruesome. What I saw though, was Josh make a mistake, rather than Jake forcing an opening. Everything leading up to the submission was nothing to call a friend about. Ellenberger hit him with a few decent shots, but it was because Josh was hesitant, not because Jake was aggressive. If the Juggernaut doesn’t come back, Jake may soon find himself in the same boat as the people he just dispatched.
