Four Things To Look Out For At UFC Fight Night 50

Joe Lauzon just released his blog for UFC on FOX Sports 1 ...

It’s Time To Sink Or Swim For Joe Lauzon

Joe Lauzon has long been at the forefront of the UFC lightweight division, putting on exciting fight after exciting fight to tie Anderson Silva for the most post-fight bonuses in UFC history with 12. But unlike “The Spider,” Lauzon’s run has been marred with much more inconsistency given his all-out style that usually involves him absorbing a ton of damage.

“J-Lau” has lost three out of his past five bouts and has been out of action since UFC on FOX 9 last December. He’ll face a hungry up-and-coming opponent in Chiesa, who has won two straight in the Octagon. UFC Fight Night 50 will show us whether or not Lauzon will continue fighting the toughest lightweights on the planet. If he scores another one of his patented bonus winning finishes, we’ll know he’s back in the game.

If not, then the ultra-talented UFC 155-pound arena may have passed him by. With only one loss on his record, “Maverick” will be the perfect test of that.
