Now content to rest on their laurels after the one-of-a-kind UFC: White House show a couple of months, Dana White has now revealed that plans for another marquee event are currently in the early stages of development.
“Now my head of production Craig Borsari is so cocky after he absolutely killed that [UFC White House] event, we are talking about something right now that he came up with — this was his idea — and I love it,” White said on The Pat McAfee Show. “I have to do some more ground work on it.”
Having already delivered the visually stunning Noche UFC event at The Sphere in Las Vegas as well as the jaw-dropping White House show the mind boggles at what they might have up their sleeves next.
“So cool you guys are going to the moon!” McAfee quipped. “You guys are going to go fight people on the moon!”
And therein lies the problem with teasing an event like this without actually giving away too many details, as fans imagination is quickly going to run riot, so White was keen to stress that it will be hard to surpass the White House show at any point in the future.
“There will never be anything like the White House again,” White admitted. “That night, we already had high expectations for it and I was blown away. It’s the greatest thing that I’ve ever been a part of. Being there live was amazing.”
