Dana White’s Contender Series 27 Results

Dana White’s Contender Series kicked off for a whole new season last night in Las Vegas and you can check out all the results below.

On this occasion three of the four winners on the night earned contracts to fight in the UFC, including main event winner Dustin Jacoby, who earned a unanimous decision victory over Ty Flore.

Jacoby actually had an 0-2 stint in the UFC as far back as 2011-2012 and has since fought for the likes of Bellator and WSOF, and though he couldn’t find a finish against the never-say-die heart and toughness of Flore, his dominant striking helped earn him a second run in the promotion.

Lightweight fighter Uros Medic also secured a UFC contract in the co-main event after he dropped Mikey Gonzalez early with a hard body kick, then continued to punish him when he stood back up, putting him down again soon after with a clean punch and then sealing the TKO stoppage with follow-up blows on the mat.

Jordan Leavitt was the other fighter who gets a chance to fight in the UFC after he was able to secure an arm-triangle choke late in the first round of his fight with Luke Flores.
