The overwhelming majority of top MMA fighters start their careers well before the age 30. That – very fortunately – did not deter Daniel Cormier from getting a start in the sport. Nearly five years later, the former Olympic wrestler now boasts a 15-0 record in MMA with wins over fighters like Dan Henderson, Frank Mir, Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson.
His flawless career in the sport, exemplified by his 4-0 record in the UFC, has set him up for a title shot against UFC Light Heavyweight champion and top pound-for-pound MMA fighter Jon Jones early next year.
