It isn’t often that anything Icelandic makes it to the headlines, but that is exactly what Gunnar Nelson has been doing since his UFC debut. The 13-0-1 fighter from Iceland has garnered a lot of hype since has UFC debut back in September.
He has gone 4-0 in the Octagon, three of those by submission and two of those earning him performance of the night awards. The 26-year-old faces the biggest test of his MMA career when he faces Rick Story in Sweden next month, and will likely get a top ten fight should he win that bout.
