Ben Askren
Askren gained a reputation among many MMA fans for what they perceived as a boring, wrestling-centric fighting style. There was minor controversy when he left Bellator as the Welterweight champion but was not signed by the UFC.
However, Askren was taken on by the Asian-based One FC and has continued to flourish as a fighter. He has shaken off his ‘snoozer’ image, having won both of his One FC bouts in the first round to take his overall MMA record to 14-0.
