Anthony Njokuani
Anthony Njokuani being placed on this list might be a little obvious. I put him on here because I think he has potential, but he has one fatal flaw that he just can’t seem to fix. He has great striking, but he seems hesitant to use it. He is a slow starter and often falls into a rhythm of letting his opponent dictate the pace, much like he did against Cruikshank. Being the longer fighter, had he gotten off first he should have been able to control the pace and place of that fight. If he could come out with a fury, and put his opponents in reactionary mode, he could open up his versatile and dangerous striking. His only UFC loses are by decision. He is not making crucial mistakes and getting knocked out, he just doesn’t fight with a sense of urgency. This problem will continue to plague him as he alternates wins and loses next year.
