Dodging retirement or going out with a bang

Mark Hunt - Page 7 - Sherdog Mixed Martial Arts Forums

Anthony Perosh is 42 going to 43 and Mark Hunt is a year younger. Both heavy weight fighters are deadly resilience not only demonstrated by their constant presence in the game despite their relatively advance age but also in both of their brushes with Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović. Hunt had a surprise win against Filipović in 2005, albeit a split decision, but Hunt was by far the underdog. Perosh in 2006 was called to fill in a spot against Filipović with a mere 2-day notice yet he powered through 2 rounds before the fight was called off by the referee at the end of the second round. Hunt, currently ranked number 4 contender is still powering on his crusade for heavyweight championship before he hangs up his gloves.
