411MANIA | Makwan Amirkhani Wants to Keep His Face Pretty at UFC ...

Makwan Amirkhani

The last name on our list is a bit of a wildcard as we have only seen him inside the octagon for eight seconds. The 26-year old Iranian-born Finnish fighter had one of the most spectacular UFC debuts in history dispatching Andy Ogle with a flying knee and punches on the ground in under ten seconds.

Amirkhani comes from a strong wrestling background and is taking to the striking game like a natural. Perhaps even more impressive than his eight second starching of Ogle was his post fight interview and press conference performance. He was cracking jokes and entertaining the media while telling a touching story about how he is going to use his bonus money to buy his mother a bed.

Makwan already has two loses on his record but as we know, very few fighters remain undefeated in MMA. If he can continue to evolve and rack up some wins in the UFC featherweight division, his explosiveness and personality could set him on the fast track to UFC stardom. He also has the country of Finland behind him which could make him invaluable to the UFC in that region.
