Who Has The Most Knockout Of The Night Bonuses In UFC History?

2.  Vitor Belfort – Five ‘Knockout Of The Night’ Bonuses

VitorBelfort600x400Vitor Belfort has been known as a fearsome striker throughout his MMA career, but remarkably, despite being in the sport for eighteen years he actually appears to be getting more dangerous with age, and that’s left him firmly in second place on this list with five ‘Knockout Of The Night’ bonuses.

After returning to the UFC following a long absence in 2009, Belfort wasted no time in making his impression felt, earning his first KO bonus by stopping Rich Franklin in his first fight.  Yoshihiro Akiyama was also swiftly dispatched a couple of years later, but like Travis Browne earlier in this article, Belfort took it to another level in 2013, with all three of his fights against top level talent in Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson, ending by either TKO or KO.

The icing on the cake is that those three finishes all came by way of a head kick – not bad for a man who used to be most feared for his punching power!
