Eric Spicely defeats Thiago Santos by submission (rear-naked choke) at 2.58mins of Rd1
Wow, Spicely gets a big upset win over Santos in the first round. From the opening bell he forced Santos to grapple with him, putting him in uncomfortable spots before managing to take his back mid-way through the round as his opponent tried to stand up, then sunk in the choke as he dropped back down to his knees and forced the tap.
Godofredo Pepey defeats Mike De La Torre by submission (rear-naked choke) at 3.03mins of Rd1
Pepey made short work of Torre in the opening round, starting as he meant to go on with a spinning head kick that landed followed up by punches. De La Torre survived that initial onslaught, but more punches soon came winging his way and further weakened his defenses, before Pepe dragged him to the mat and applied the fight-ending choke.
