Khamzat Chimaev appears to be bouncing back from the serious illness that forced him to pull out of his headlining fight against Robert Whittaker at the recent UFC On ABC 6 event in Saudi Arabia.
The 30-year-old Chimaev was recently photographed training up in the mountains above Lake Kezenoy-am in Russia, and also issued a brief statement that suggests he’s now getting ready to compete again.
“Hard times create strong men,” Chimaev wrote alongside a training photo. “I’ve never had it easy or waited for it to be easier. Will soon show you all again who is the King here.”
