UFC 96 – Shane Nelson vs. Aaron Riley – Referee Rick Fike
Early in their fight, Nelson landed a single punch to knock Riley down to the mat, but in typical Riley fashion, he immediately got his head right and looked for full guard.
The referee Rick Fike was hovering literally right next to the two fighters as this played out, yet as it became apparent to everyone else in the arena that Riley was fit to continue, he decided to end the fight.
Riley got straight back up to his feet and held his arms out wide in total disbelief at the decision.
